Dbanj Celebrates 2Baba at 50, Calls Him “Brother, Ancestor and Legend”.

Afrobeats icon Dbanj has penned a heartfelt tribute to his colleague and friend, 2Baba Idibia, as the music legend marks his 50th birthday.

Sharing a photo of them together on Instagram, Dbanj described 2Baba as his “brother, ancestor and legend,” adding that he remains a “bad sharp guy.” He prayed for long life, more blessings, and timeless music for the celebrant.

“Happy Birthday to my Brother, Ancestor and Legend @official2baba. A Bad Sharp Guy! More life, more blessings, and more timeless music. Love you, King! OooSssHhEeee,” he wrote.

The duo, who share a long-standing friendship, have continued to warm the hearts of fans with their bond. Back in May, they thrilled social media users after a video of their link-up surfaced online, showing the joy of their reunion.

In recent years, Dbanj has also rekindled ties with another longtime associate, Don Jazzy, as they teased fans with a sequel to his 2008 hit album The Entertainer. The reunion stirred excitement among music lovers who hailed the duo’s brotherhood.

As 2Baba clocks the golden age of 50, tributes continue to pour in from fans and industry colleagues, celebrating his impact and legendary status in Nigerian music.
