Ekiti Lady, Toluwani Rita Ojo-Lanre, Emerges Overall Best Fellow at Emerging Political Leaders Fellows 2024 in Nigeria

Abuja, Nigeria — In a grand celebration of excellence and commitment to leadership, Toluwani Rita Ojo-Lanre, a distinguished daughter of Ekiti State, has emerged as the Overall Best Fellow in the 2024 cohort of the Emerging Political Leaders Fellows (EPLF) in Nigeria.


Her exceptional performance and accomplishments were recognized and celebrated during a prestigious event held in Abuja, attended by prominent Nigerian leaders and dignitaries.

The award for the Overall Best Fellow was presented to Toluwani by H.E. Senator Liyel Imoke, former Governor of Cross River State and founder of the EPLF ,a non partisan political academy.
This exceptional recognition highlights her dedication, diligence, and commitment to political leadership and public governance, positioning her as a promising beacon for Nigeria’s future. Toluwani Ojo-Lanre’s hard work was further celebrated with the conferment of an Advanced Certificate in Political Leadership and Public Governance, awarded by H.E. Rt. Hon. Chukwuemeka Ihedioha, former Governor of Imo State.

In addition, she received an Award of Recognition for her diligence and an Award of Excellence presented by Senator Biodun Olujimi. Senator Olujimi, hailing from Ekiti State, expressed heartfelt pride in Toluwani’s accomplishments, acknowledging her as an inspiring representative of Ekiti’s best values in governance and leadership. Senator Olujimi remarked, “Toluwani’s achievements are a source of pride for Ekiti State and Nigeria as a whole. The event brought together a distinguished audience, including H.E. Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, former Governor of Sokoto State; H.E. Senator Gabriel Torwuan Suswan; H.E. Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transportation; Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe; Senator Stella Oduah; and Senator John Owan Enoh, among others. These prominent leaders, along with the award presenters, lauded Toluwani Ojo-Lanre’s dedication to governance and public service, describing her as a symbol of hope for Nigeria’s emerging leaders.
