Faithia Williams Announces Social Media Comeback After Nine-Month Hiatus

Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has officially returned to social media, marking the end of a nine-month break that began after she lost access to her Instagram account in March.
The film star made her comeback announcement on Thursday, sharing a new post in which she expressed immense gratitude to a close friend who helped her recover the account.

“I’m back ooooooooooo. After 9 months. Thank you so much, @kennywhite4rew. You are indeed a recovery guru. Appreciation post loading. Alhamdulilahi,” she wrote, accompanied by fresh photos.

Before her sudden disappearance earlier in the year, Faithia had celebrated her birthday in February, expressing heartfelt gratitude for life’s experiences and for the support she continues to receive. She looked ahead with hope, praying for a year filled with joy, love, and new opportunities.

In January, the actress proudly announced that her son, Khalid Balogun, graduated from the University of Lagos with a first-class degree. She described the achievement as overwhelming joy. Her ex-husband, actor Saidi Balogun, also celebrated their son, calling the achievement one of the greatest joys of his life—especially after losing one of his daughters last year.

Faithia herself endured a difficult period last year following the death of her former stepdaughter, prompting her to briefly step away from the public space. She later shared a tribute to the deceased and thanked those who supported her family during the loss.

Faithia and Saidi Balogun married over two decades ago before their highly publicized divorce four years later. Their separation made headlines at the time following reports of irreconcilable differences.

With her account now restored, Faithia says she is ready to reconnect with fans and resume her activities online.
