For Effective Legislation, Hon Akinwole completes renovation of the moribund Legislative Building

For Effective and Efficient Legislation Towards the Development and Progress of The Local Government, The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye today opened The Legislative Building for use by the Local Government Councilors.

The Executive Chairman who inspected the local government secretariat on his first day in office felt bad at the deplorable state of the legislative building which prompted him to take swift measures to renovate the building for use by the Councilors.

In a Statement made Available to the Public through his media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, Hon Akinwole Akinleye stated the necessity for a healthy environment for a functioning and sustainable legislature which is a key component of an effective and efficient government.

“Today, We have made history by making this project a reality in a very short time that we assumed office. This Success can be attributed to the fact that this government is an all inclusive one which requires the proper functioning of every of its organ. We appreciate our Councilors for their Cooperation and Patience throughout the Renovation process. We also Appreciate the management and Members of staff of this Local Government for swinging into prompt action when called upon”.

“As we all know that the Legislature is a key component of an effective and efficient government, The deplorable state of the legislative building that we met upon assumption of office is a major challenge that requires urgent attention. As I promised on my first day in office that we will tread the path of our principal, His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Oyo State,Engr Seyi Makinde,by ensuring the we provide a sustainable environment for all, This has prompted us to swiftly ensure that a befitting legislative building be put in place for effective legislation that will improve the well being of the good people of our dear local government”.

“Today, we can boldly say that the Local Government Legislative building has gotten a new face which is very necessary for a better Local Government. We appreciate our political leaders for their encouragement and support since our first day in office which has spurred us on always.”

Hon Akinwole Akinleye Charged the legislators to see the renovation of the legislative building as an avenue to be creative and innovative in their legislative process to achieve a better Local Government that everyone can be proud of.

Present at the opening of the Renovated Legislative Building include The Executive Vice Chairman, Hon Akintunde Sakiru, The Councilors, Political leaders, The Chief of Staff, Hon Aderinwale Adeyemi, HLGA And Acting HLGAs, DAGS, The Local Government Information Officer, Heads of Departments, members of Staff among others.
