GIND commends General T.Y Danjuma over award on humanitarian service, urged other wealthy Nigerians to emulate him

The Co-founder of Global Initiative for Nigeria Development (GIND), Engr. Michael Ale has felicitated the Nigerian politician and retired Nigerian army, Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma over his recent award for human services. 

The retired Nigerian army lieutenant general who played a key role in post independence military and political events in Nigeria was recently rewarded with prestigious international award from the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC).

Ale, in a statement personally signed by him and made available to journalists urged other wealthy Nigerians to emulate him.

He said: “It is worthy of note that Nigerians are faced with great challenge considering the policy measure of the Nigeria Government for better outcome and livelihood.

“Many responsible forward looking leaders should not keep quiet this trying time. Independent support to make life better for poor and vulnerable Nigerians should be  spurred. 

“In appreciation to the earnest-will recognition of Nigeria brightest and finest Human eccentric personified contribution of General TY Danjuma, by the International Human Right Commission, (IHRC), I, Micheal Ale is calling on all other well meaning individuals to rise up to humanitarian task which is daunting and never ending. 

“General TY. Danjuma is leaving behind remarkable achievement through many of his initiatives among which is TY Danjuma Foundation and Victim Support Fund. (VSF)

“GIND, in collaboration with other partners will organize the first National Humanitarian and Livelihood Conference where many notable Nigerians will be honored at our maiden edition of Courageous Nigerian Livelihood Program (CNL Program).

“Many initiative which had impact in the life of Nigerians and individual that had expressed optimism in the face of dark times will also be honored. 

Nigeria is a great country where good leadership can take us to an enviable height”, GIND boss, Ale stated.
