Yinka Idowu reads “We received the appointment of Mr. Adebayo Adelabu, a financial and boardroom guru, to man the all important ministry of Power, with enthusiasm, judging from the track record of the appointee who’s career has always been trailed with scintillating record of performance wherever he threads.

“This task which undoubtedly is a daunting one, judging from giants who had held the portfolio yet was unable to alleviate the nation’s electricity woes.

“We’re rest assured that Adelabu will bring his extensive network, financial wizardry, boardroom dexterity and political contact to bear in permanently solving the power woes, so we can kick-start our economic cum industrial and developmental aspirations.

“Thus, we enjoin industry stakeholders, political stakeholders and indeed all Nigerians to give him all necessary support towards actualising the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu renewed hope agenda for the power sector.

“In the same vein, we enjoin all sons and daughters of Oyo State, especially members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State to bury their differences and rally round one of their own”
