I enjoyed Ekiti State – Tourism Minister Lola Ade -John Praises Ekiti State’s Unparalleled Hospitality and Tourism Appeal at International

The Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade John, has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Governor of Ekiti State, Gov Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for the exceptional hospitality extended to her and her team during their recent visit to Ekiti State. The visit was made to participate in the highly anticipated Hike Ekiti State Mountain Tourism Carnival.

Minister Ade John enthusiastically shared her delightful experience in Ekiti State, expressing her awe at the remarkable transformation at the renowned Ikogosi Warm Spring and the breathtaking wonders of the Abanijorin Rock in Iyin Ekiti. She further commended the Director – General ,Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism ,Barrister Wale Ojo- – Lanre for his diligence and doggedness at selling Ekiti to tourism minds
She also applauded the people of Ekiti for their warm and welcoming nature.

The Minister’s statement was made during the 10th Wonders of the World Nigeria Expo,Special Edition , a prestigious event held at the National Museum, Onikan, Lagos. It is worth noting that Ekiti State secured the remarkable first position in the “Most Active Tourism State in Nigeria” category at the Expo.

Minister Ade John testified to Ekiti State’s commitment, not only as an entity but under the leadership of Governor H.E Oyebanji, to becoming the number one destination in Nigeria. The Governor’s enthusiasm and passion for establishing Ekiti State as the top tourism spot in the country have been both active and commendable.

Amb Ikechi Uko, President of Travellers Awards and Publisher of ATQ Magazine, also lauded Ekiti State’s remarkable performance in the tourism sector. He mentioned that Ekiti, previously visible in the industry, has taken the past eight months by storm, emerging as a leading force. Furthermore, Governor Oyebanji’s continuous efforts have kept other states on their toes in terms of tourism development.

With the Minister’s endorsement and recognition from Amb Ikechi Uko, Ekiti State stands as a shining example of dedication to tourism development and the creation of unforgettable experiences for visitors.
