2023:I will leave Nigeria to Ghana if Atiku or Tinubu wins the 2023 Presidential election” – Charly Boy

Popular Nigerian singer, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has said he will leave Nigeria for Ghana if Tinubu or Atiku Abubakar wins the 2023

The Area father stated this on Twitter after the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was announced as the winner of the APC Presidential Primaries.

While a couple of aspirants bowed out and stepped down for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos state amassed half of the total votes to beat his major opponents, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

Tinubu got a total of 1,271 votes while his major opponents, Amaechi 316votes and Osinbajo, got and 235 votes respectively, making him the flagbearer.

Meanwhile, former vice president, Atiku Abubukar is also vying for presidency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, June 8, Charly Boy wrote,

“If any of these two jabagantis win, I go just leave una walker go Ghana, go beg dem for citizenship. Buhari, will look like a saint.”

The 71-year-old in an interview with the Nation noted that his submission is as a result of the current happenings in the country, which have continued to reoccur over the last four decades.

According to him, there’s no such thing as one Nigeria because the citizens find it difficult to understand themselves.
