President Bola Tinubu has said that Nigeria under his watch will become one of the “most conducive places on earth” for foreign investments.

According to a statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, President Tinubu said this when he spoke at a meeting with Indian billionaire, Gopichand Hinduja, chairperson of the Hinduja group of companies in India.

The president said he would ensure that bottlenecks are removed and investors thrive in the country.  He said his visit to India was focused on attracting investments to Nigeria with lucrative opportunities for investors, but most importantly, jobs for Nigerians and new revenue opportunities for the country. “We are here for business. I am here to personally assure our friends and investors that there is no bottleneck that I will not break. Nigeria will become one of the most conducive places on earth to make good profits and create lasting jobs,” the statement quoted Tinubu as saying.

With my support, there is nothing standing in your way of enjoying the unrivalled opportunities presented by our massive market and the ingenious & hardworking nature of the Nigerian people. We are open for business.”
