“I’m appalled by your audacity” – Iyabo Ojo slams Tanzanian media personality Monge Kimambi over her stern warning to Priscilla Ojo

Popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has slammed Tanzanian media personality Mange Kimambi over her stern warning to her daughter, Priscilla Ojo.

It was reported that the Tanzanian media personality had warned Priscilla sternly against posting loved-up photos and videos with her husband while they are fighting for their country as they head out for their elections soon. Monge advised them to wait for the next five months, when the elections are over, to resume posting content about themselves.

Taking to her Instagram page, Iyabo stated that she is appalled by her audacity in referring to her daughter and Juma Jux in such a manner. Iyabo said that as a parent, she has taught her daughter to be confident and authentic.

The Yoruba actress said that though her in-laws are peaceful, she doesn’t joke with her daughter. Iyabo also confirmed that the rumours about the government giving them money were false.

Iyabo warned her to keep her daughter out of her affairs and stated that Priscilla would post whatever she liked, whenever she liked.

“@mangekimambi80

I’m appalled by your audacity! Referring to my daughter and her husband in such a manner, calling their content stupīd, and trying to drum fear and intimidation is unacceptable. As a parent, I’ve taught her to be confident and authentic. The Mkambala are very peaceful, but note that I don’t joke with my daughter.

Regarding the wedding rumours, it’s not your government that gave us money; it’s a cultural tradition in my family. The wife’s family covers costs. I wanted an elaborate wedding for my daughter in Nigeria, and we, the Nigerians, gave her one.

I’m an activist, and as one, I stand by my principles and fight for what I believe in, without insulting anyone or targeting anyone. True leadership requires presence and courage. It’s laughable that you, living in America, think you can dictate to my daughter and her husband, who are living their lives in Tanzania.

Keep my daughter out of your affairs. She’ll post what she likes, when, and how she likes. She doesn’t need you to love her. She is very loved and well-loved,

We protect our own. Never forget that”.

Iyabo Ojo slams Monge Kimambi
If there is one thing anyone can’t deny about Iyabo Ojo is her unwavering love and support for her children, especially her daughter, Priscilla.

In November, Iyabo had hailed her Priscilla, for bagging an award at the 2024 Eloy Awards. Iyabo who was at the event to support her mini-me, shared a video of the moment Priscilla walked on stage to receive her award, as she expressed pride in her and appreciated her daughter for always making her proud.

In a past post, the proud mother had bragged about her daughter’s achievements as she flaunted Priscilla’s impressive achievements in the entertainment industry, fashion, and entrepreneurship over the years.
