Iroko Day: Akinyele Council Boss reaffirms his commitment to Community

The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye has reaffirmed his commitment to the development of the communities within Akinyele Local Government.

Hon Akinleye made this known while addressing the people at the 2025 Iroko Day Celebration at Iroko, Ward 12 of Akinyele Local Government.

Hon Akinwole Akinleye in his opening remarks applauded his Principal, The Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde for giving special consideration to Akinyele LG. He highlighted the various projects and developments brought to Akinyele LG by the Governor which has made Akinyele LG the fastest growing LG in Oyo state.

Hon Akinwole Akinleye also extolled the Executive Governor for his leadership dexterity by running an all inclusive governance devoid of political affiliations. The Chairman used the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to grassroots developments, youth engagement and empowerment across the nooks and crannies of Akinyele Local Government.

In his bid towards making life easy and comfortable for the people, Hon Akinleye supported Iroko Town with a Million Naira for the construction of Oniroko’s palace and improvement of electricity supply to Iroko community. He assured the people that he will not relent in replicating the good deeds of The Executive Governor of Oyo state In Akinyele Local Government.

The Akinyele LG Legislative Arm led by the leader of the House, Hon Rafiu Kolawole Kazeem KK, Representative of the LG Supervisory Councilors , Hon Amole Ismail, Representative of the LG special Assistants Hon Wasiu Akinlabi, Party Executives, Hon Deji Ariyo, Hon David Ige and other Party Members accompanied the Executive Chairman to the Event.
