Jumoke George Overwhelmed with Joy as She Receives Home, Land, and SUV After Years of Hardship

Nollywood veteran actress Jumoke George was moved to tears of joy after kind-hearted Nigerians came together to gift her a 4-bedroom duplex, an SUV, and a plot of land — a gesture that marks a turning point in her years of struggle.

The life-changing gifts were made possible through the efforts of her junior colleague, actress Biola Bayo, who took to Instagram to celebrate the emotional moment and thank everyone who contributed to the cause.

“Today, we presented a 4-bedroom duplex, an SUV, and a plot of land to Mama Jumoke George courtesy of @ayokmagproperties1 @ayokmag,” Biola shared. “Thank you to everyone who made this dream a reality. This wouldn’t have happened without your love and support. We are grateful.”

The surprise also included the support of @royalhugssurprise, who helped coordinate the memorable occasion.

In a separate heartwarming gesture, Jumoke George’s daughter, Adeola Omotosho, received a deep freezer and cash gifts from a well-meaning Nigerian.

The outpouring of generosity follows Jumoke George’s emotional revelation in an earlier interview with Biola Bayo, where she disclosed that she had been homeless for five to six years, surviving only by taking shelter in her church. She also opened up about her deteriorating health, revealing she had undergone extensive medical tests without the financial means to treat herself.

Her testimony also touched on a more personal pain — the mysterious disappearance of her 41-year-old daughter, Adeola, who had been missing for four years.

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Biola Bayo, actor Adeniyi Johnson, and the Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Jumoke was recently reunited with her daughter.

In a tearful interview, Adeola revealed she had been trafficked to Mali, sold for N1.5 million to a woman who attempted to force her into prostitution. She described the years of torment she endured, pleading with Nigerian mothers not to judge her harshly and seeking forgiveness.

Jumoke George has previously spoken about the rejection she suffered in her early years, revealing that she was estranged from both parents following their divorce. Her choice to live with her father led to a fractured relationship with her mother, while her stepmother complicated her bond with her father.

Now, with a roof over her head, support from her colleagues, and her daughter back in her life, Jumoke George’s story has taken a dramatic and hopeful turn — a testimony to resilience, faith, and the power of community.
