Just In:IVD shares post about ‘fake friends’ and betrayal days after he was arraigned for death of his wife, Bimbo

He averred that people are only your friends when you have money, but they will abandon you once you have a “minor problem.”

Controversial Nigerian businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, Well known as IVD, has taken to social media to share a cryptic post about fake friends and betrayal.

This comes days after he was arraigned before the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja over the alleged manslaughter of his late wife, Abimbola.


IVD was arraigned on Monday, March 20, before Justice Nicole-Clay on one count of involuntary manslaughter in suit No. LD/21055C/23, which was preferred against him by the Lagos State Government.

In a post shared on Thursday, IVD, who has deleted all of his Instagram posts and removed his profile photo, called out his fake friends and family.


He averred that people are only your friends when you have money, but they will abandon you once you have a “minor problem.”

The Lagos-based car dealer, who appeared to be referring to how his friends have treated him since the death of his wife, whom he was accused of killing, also warned them not to buy anything from him on credit because he is done being a fool.
