Linc Edochie Hints at New Romance, Sparks Speculation

Nollywood actor Lincoln “Linc” Edochie has stirred buzz on social media after hinting that he is ready to move on romantically. In a post on his Facebook page, the son of veteran actor Pete Edochie revealed that he intended to spend time with “his woman,” though he gave no name or confirmation to his followers.

He described his day as “hectic,” but said things were improving:

“It’s been a hectic day, and so far, the painting is coming out good. Time for a cold bottle of Beer, a plate of pepper soup and some good loving from my woman.”

The vagueness of the post led many fans and commentators to conclude that he was signaling a new romantic direction.

Reactions: Focus on Yinka

Much of the public reaction has circled on Yinka Theisen (also spelled “Yinka”), whom many believe is his estranged partner. Several online commentators suggested she was “gearing up” for a response:

“Yinka setting her ring light up and raging mad”

“Yinkus typing and deleting and typing aggressively”

“That woman will still come online to drag you”

Others noted how she’s been actively posting on social media since the post went live — a hint that she might respond in kind.

Backstory: The Linc–Yinka Split and Public Rows

Linc and Yinka officially married in June 2025. Almost immediately, Yinka began publicly calling out Yul Edochie and Judy Austin, which drew criticism from supporters of May Edochie (Yul’s wife).

In June, Linc distanced himself from Yinka following her social media attacks on May Edochie. He stated he did not condone the public airing of personal matters or posting of phone numbers, and said he’d rather be single than live in a fraught relationship.

In response to that distancing, Yinka expressed hurt, saying it was humiliating that a man she loved would “throw her under the bus” publicly. She vowed to respond to him through the same channels (i.e. social media) since she felt unfairly treated.
