Makinde Pays Condolences Visit To Popoola’s Family, Promises To Cater For Deceased Children’s Education

Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has paid a condolence visit to the wife of the late lawmaker who represented Ibadan Southeast Constituency 11 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Ademola Segun Popoola who died on Tuesday.

He described the deceased as a star cut short in his prime and a great loss to Oyo State. He prayed for the repose of his soul.

Makinde who led top government and House of Assembly lawmakers to the residence of the late lawmaker. While commiserating with the wife, children and extended family of Popoola, the Governor promised to enrol the deceased two female children in his foundation adding that his personal NGO will be responsible for the education of the children who are in SSS 2 and Primary two.

On the entourage of the Governor were, Speaker Oyo House of Assembly, Rt Hon Debo Ogundoyin, Chief of Staff, Hon Segun Ogunwuyi, Senator Hosea Agboola, Reverend Idowu Ogedengbe.

Others are Hon Olatunde Kehinde (Deacon), Hon Gabriel Babajide (Jagaban), Alhaji Akeem Azeez among others.
