Medical Doctor Falls To Death From Faulty Elevator At Lagos General Hospital- Colleagues Protest

A medical doctor Doctor Ovwaere Diaso, has fallen to death through a faulty elevator at her place of work.

The elevator fell from the 10th floor where she was to the ground when she wanted to pick the food she ordered from a food vendor.

She was an house officer  at the General Hospital, Odan Lagos Island billed to complete her housemanship in the next two weeks according to sources.

Her colleagues,  House officers at the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos Island where Doctor Ovwaere Diaso, fell to her death, have embarked on a protest, Wednesday to demand justice for the deceased.

Diaso died on August 1 after the elevator she had taken to pick up her food from a vendor fell from the 10th floor, killing her. I

In a video shared on Twitter by Omolyawoli, House officers could be seen marching outside the hospital building with placards that carry messages such as, “It could have been me and “The system is rigged against young doctors,” while they chanted: “All we are saying, give us justice.”

Diaso was said to be preparing for the completion of her housemanship in two weeks when the tragic incident happened.
