Naira Marley demands apology from Iyabo Ojo for defamation; threatens to sue for N500 million in damages if she doesn’t comply

Naira Marley’s attorney requested that, within seven days of receiving the letter, the actress post an apology on her official Instagram account

Singer Naria Marley as threatened to sue Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo for N500 million if she does not retract her defamatory statements against him.

Recall that some weeks ago, Iyabo Ojo alleged that Naira Marley reportedly put illicit drugs in the food and drinks her kids ate, and she had three people who could attest to these occurrences.

She also declared that when the government’s legal battle with Naira Marley concludes, she intends to bring her own case against him.

In a new development, Naira Marley, via Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co., sent a letter to Iyabo Ojo accusing her of using her instagram account as a source of harmful and inaccurate information.

According to the letter, Iyabo accused Naira Marley of having spiritual and physical encounters with the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, in an Instagram post that was posted 

The singer’s attorney further said that the actress had accused his client of mentally torturing Mohbad.

Naira Marley’s attorney requested that, within seven days of receiving the letter, the actress post an apology on her official Instagram account and in a national daily.

They threatened to file for legal action and seek N500 million in damages from the actress if she fails to comply.
