NIGERIA AT 66: Akinyele Council Boss, Hon Akinwole Akinleye,Calls For Unity, Says Nigeria Truly Needs a Reset.

The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 66th Independence Anniversary, calling for renewed patriotism, unity and collective commitment towards resetting and building a better Nigeria.

In a goodwill message made available through his Chief Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, the Executive Chairman congratulated Nigerians at home and abroad and urged citizens to remain hopeful about the future of the country.

Hon. Akinwole Akinleye noted that while Nigeria’s journey over the past 66 years has been characterised by challenges and difficult moments, the nation remains blessed with enormous human and natural resources capable of driving sustainable development. He urged Nigerians to focus not only on the challenges confronting the country but also on the vast opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead.

According to him, the Nigeria of the future must be a nation where unity triumphs over division, merit is rewarded, young people have opportunities to fulfil their potential, businesses thrive, education is accessible, and every citizen enjoys a strong sense of belonging. He stressed that building such a nation requires the commitment and contribution of everyone, irrespective of political, ethnic, religious or social differences.

The Executive Chairman said: “On behalf of my family and the good people of Akinyele Local Government, I rejoice with all Nigerians on this 66th Independence Anniversary. We must continue to believe in Nigeria and work together to overcome our challenges. With unity of purpose, responsible leadership and active citizenship, we can build the Nigeria of our dreams. Let us put Nigeria first and remain committed to peace, progress and prosperity.”

Hon. Akinwole Akinleye therefore called on Nigerians to use the anniversary as an opportunity to renew their faith in the nation and recommit themselves to the task of resetting the nation towards nation-building.

He wished Nigerians a peaceful, prosperous and memorable 66th Independence Anniversary, praying for greater progress for Nigeria, Oyo State and Akinyele Local Government.
