Olubadan-installation May Be March11- Palace Source

There are indications that Olubadan designate, High Chief Senator Lekan Balogun, whose appointment as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, was approved by  Governor Seyi Makinde on 14th February  may be coronated March 11, 2022.

It has been reported earlier that the coronation of the new Olubadan would likely take place before the annual Ibadan Festival and the 2022 Ramadan period.

An inside source close to the family revealed told us on Tuesday that Lekan Balogun may be coronated on 11th March,2022.

The approval follows a recommendation made by the Olubadan-in-Council and which was communicated to the governor recently.
