Osun lawmaker-elect, Egbedun pays last respect as Oyo speaker buries mum

The House of Assembly member-elect of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Odo Otin State Constituency, Osun State, Hon. Adewale Egbedun on Friday, joined families and other sympathisers to pay his last respect to late Chief (Mrs) Justina Ogundoyin, mother of the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin at her burial ceremony.

Hon. Egbedun, in a statement from his media office, described the death of Chief (Mrs) Justina Ogundoyin, as a huge loss to the people of Oyo State in general and Eruwa in particular.

His words: “There’s no gainsaying the fact that the death of Chief (Mrs) Justina Ogundoyin, will put the family, friends and associates in a deep mourning, in view of the quality of her contributions to her immediate society.”

“While we know that death is inevitable, it’s very sad that Chief (Mrs) Justina Ogundoyin ’s sunset came so soon.”

“She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, colleagues, associates and the people of Eruwa and Imo State, where she hailed from.”

“There’s no word to adequately describe the depth of the loss. We are hopeful that the family she left behind will carry on with her legacies, to immortalize her.”

“As we mourn her, we must be consoled by the good and impactful live she lived on earth, and the fact that she has gone to rest with the Lord in heaven.”

“May God Almighty grant all of us the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and rest the soul of the departed.”

“Once again, on behalf of my family and the good people of
Odo Otin in Osun State, kindly accept my condolences my dear speaker.”
