Oyo CAN Visits New Soun Of Ogbomoso

..counsels on peaceful coexistence and support for new monarch

The leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Oyo State led by its Chairman, Apostle (Col) Joshua Sola Akinyemiju (JP) recently visited the newly installed Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Afolabi Olaoye at his palace in Ogbomoso.

In his remark at the palace, the Chairman, CAN, Oyo State, Apostle (Col) Joshua Sola Akinyemiju counselled the people of Ogbomoso to support and cooperate with the new monarch in order to move Ognomosoland forward.

He said the king will surely reign according to the dictates of God for the people of the land hence the need for the people not to relent in extending their support to him.

The Oyo state CAN Chairman reteirated the commitment of the association to the upliftment of the Ogbomoso and Oyo State as a whole.

He said the delegation was in Ogbomoso to felicitates the king and join him in soliciting for God’s guidance for his kingship.

Earlier, Oba Olaoye appreciated leadership of Christian Association Of Nigeria for their support and prayer since his nomination and installation as the Soun of Ogbomosoland.

He assured that he’s committed to the overall development of Ogbomosoland and making the town a model of socio-economic development across the state.

Executives and senior members of the Association accompanied the Chairman on the visit.
