Oyo NACJ mourns death of its State Secretary, Oyetoro Ikeoye
The Oyo State chapter of the National Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) has expressed shock and deep sadness over the death of its former State Secretary, Ikeoye Oyetoro.

Oyetoro, an Information Officer with the Ibadan North-East Local Government, Iwo Road, passed away in the early hours of Friday, October 2, 2026 after brief illness.

The association, in a statement by its state chairman, Lekan Shobowale,
expressed deep grief over the development, describing the late Oyetoro as a committed Christian journalist and dedicated public servant whose contributions to the growth of the association and journalism profession would be remembered.

Her death has thrown members of the Oyo State chapter of the NACJ into mourning, with colleagues and associates expressing condolences to his family, friends and professional colleagues.

The association prayed for comfort and strength for the deceased’s family, while commending his contributions to the journalism profession and public service.

The Oyo state NACJ urged members and sympathisers to support the family in this difficult period and prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased.
