Oyo NUJ Hails Appointment of Babatunde Salaudeen as GM, Radio Nigeria Ogo Ilu FM*

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, has applauded the appointment of Mr. Babatunde Salaudeen as the substantive General Manager of Ogo Ilu FM, an indigenous station on the network of Radio Nigeria in Oko.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Mr. Akeem Abas, and the Secretary, Temidayo Adu, the union described the appointment as a well-deserved decision that would further entrench the professionalism and ethical standards for which Radio Nigeria is widely known.

The council extolled the virtues of Mr. Salaudeen, portraying him as a thoroughbred media professional whose passion for journalism and commitment to excellence have remained unwavering over the years.

Oyo NUJ also commended the management of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria for what it termed “putting a round peg in a round hole,” expressing confidence that Ogo Ilu FM is in safe hands with Mr. Babatunde Salaudeen at the helm.
