PDP’s Adeleke Wins Polling Unit

Adeleke, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has won his polling unit 009, Ward 02, Abogunde/Sagba, Ede North at the ongoing gubernatorial election.

Adeleke polled 218 votes; his major contender in the All Progressive Congress, Governor Gboyega Oyetola, polled 23 votes while Dr Akin Ogunbiyi of Accord Party had just one vote.

We reported earlier that Adeleke said he jumped the queue at his polling because the people asked him to move to the front.

The former federal lawmaker said, “It was the people that invited me to come forward and cast my ballot. They asked me to step forward and go the front.”
