Prince Odi Okojie, husband of Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson, has finally reacted to the swirling allegations linking him to a supposed side chick.
Earlier reports from Stella Dimoko Korkus’ blog claimed that the politician was involved with another woman, allegedly impregnated her, and upgraded her lifestyle without properly covering his tracks. The blog further alleged that Mercy Johnson uncovered the affair and that the pregnancy was forcefully terminated after she reportedly tracked down the woman.
Amid the controversy, Mercy Johnson appeared unbothered as she took to Instagram to share affectionate photos with her husband, jokingly noting that she had “no sleep for the wicked.”
Backing his wife and shutting down the rumours, Prince Odi Okojie shared a loved-up video of himself and Mercy from their daughter Angel’s 10th birthday celebration, presenting a united front against the allegations.
The couple, who marked their 14th wedding anniversary in August, have often spoken publicly about the strength of their marriage. Mercy previously described her husband as her best friend and pillar of support, crediting God for sustaining their union despite opposition and repeated attempts to destabilize it.
Beyond the rumours, Mercy continues to emphasize family as her top priority. She has frequently shared moments with her husband and their four children, describing them as her everything and her team.
