Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has expressed heartfelt gratitude after successfully rounding off her recent giveaway initiative for mothers and expectant mums.
The new mother, who welcomed her first child two weeks ago with her Tanzanian husband, singer Juma Jux, revealed on Instagram that she felt led by God to give back and was glad she obeyed the nudge. She shared screenshots of the final batch of credit alerts sent to the selected beneficiaries, alongside words of thanks to her Creator.
“God wanted me to give back, and I’m glad I did,” she wrote.
This act of kindness mirrors a similar gesture by her mother, Iyabo Ojo, who last month gifted ₦50,000 each to 60 expectant mothers and women who recently gave birth. According to the actress, the initiative was born out of love and appreciation.
Beyond her philanthropic effort, Priscilla has been candid about her postpartum journey. She disclosed that she was rushed to the hospital at 3 a.m. during labour, admitting that her plans to “slay” and create content were quickly abandoned due to the reality of contractions.
She further praised her mother and actress Lola Alao for being her biggest support system, ensuring she had time to rest and recover. “I am blessed to come from a lineage of strong women,” Priscilla noted.
Priscilla and Juma Jux tied the knot earlier this year in a six-part wedding celebration that took place in both Tanzania and Nigeria.
