Popular actress and politician, Funke Akindele has expressed her unwavering confidence to win the Lagos state governorship election.

The actress who is running as the deputy governorship candidate for Lagos state under the People’s Democratic Party, recently appeared for an interview on Channels TV.

She said to the interviewer that she is certain to win the election since she has over 20 millions of followers on her social media page as well as fans at the grass root level.


Nigerians have expressed their doubts to her resolute statements as they allude that some of the followers love her acting role and not her capacity as a politician.
