Senator Alli Congratulates O-0RBDA boss, Adeoye on Award Nomination

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has congratulated the Executive Director (Planning & Design), Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority (O-ORBDA), Alhaji Adewale Adeoye on his nomination as a recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Nigerian Award.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, and made available to newsmen on Monday in Ibadan.

The award, which recognised excellence in public service, will be presented at the forthcoming ceremony aimed at honouring outstanding Nigerians who have made significant contributions to the nation.

Senator Alli praised Adeoye for his dedication and commitment to national development, describing the award as a well-deserved recognition.

He commended Adeoye’s leadership and technical expertise, which have greatly enhanced the river basin’s capacity to support agriculture, water management, and sustainable development in the region.

“Your achievements are a source of pride, not only to Oyo State but to the entire nation. This recognition is a testament to your hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence,” Alli said.

The lawmaker expressed confidence that the award would serve as a motivation for Adeoye to continue his outstanding service to the country.

Senator All said that the recognition was an inspiration to other public servants, encouraging them to strive for excellence in their various fields of endeavour.

He wished Adeoye continued success in his future endeavours, expressing appreciation to the organisers for identifying and celebrating outstanding individuals who have contributed to the nation’s progress.
