Senator Alli mourns with Oyo NUJ’s Ademola Babalola over mother’s death

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Madam Wulemotu Aweni Babalola, mother of Alhaji Ademola Babalola, the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council.

This is contained in a heartfelt condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Ibadan.

Senator Alli described the late Madam Wulemotu as a virtuous woman whose life was marked by kindness, selflessness, and dedication to her family and community.

The lawmaker noted that the deceased was a pillar of support and inspiration to her children and everyone who came into her life.

He said that the late Babalola’s
exemplary qualities as well as nurturing spirit shaped her family and influenced the broader community positively.

“Her legacy of compassion and resilience will live on through her children and those who benefited from her warm-heartedness,” he said.

Senator Alli recognised the difficult moment this represents for Alhaji Babalola and his family, urging them to take solace in the memories of the remarkable life their mother led.

He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant her eternal rest and give the family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss with courage and fortitude.

The senator also commended Alhaji Babalola for his commitment to journalism and community service, a dedication he attributed, in part, to the solid upbringing and values imparted by his late mother.

“Alhaji Babalola’s contributions to the media landscape in Oyo State reflect the depth of values instilled in him by his late mother,” Alli remarked.

On behalf of the people of Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Alli extended his heartfelt condolences to the entire Babalola family and the Oyo NUJ.

He urged the family to remain united and cherish the lasting memories of a beloved matriarch who touched many lives.
