Senator Alli urges Christians to embrace Easter’s true messages

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across the country, urging them to reflect on the values of love, sacrifice, and renewal which the season symbolizes.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Ibadan.

Senator Alli stressed the need for unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

He said that Easter was a period that reminded all of the selfless love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ for humanity.

The lawmaker called on Nigerians to emulate these virtues in their daily lives by showing compassion, tolerance, and support to one another.

Senator Alli urged Nigerians to use the season as an opportunity to renew their faith in the country and pray for its progress, especially at a time when the nation is working hard to overcome socio-economic and security challenges.

While wishing all Christians a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration, the senator reiterated his commitment to effective representation, good governance and sustainable development across Oyo South Senatorial District.
