Seun Kuti’s sister, Motunrayo shares video of how they treated police officers that came to search his house.

The police officers attempted to gain entry but the family insisted on searching them first.

Motunrayo, the sister of embattled afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has shared a video of how their family treated police officers who came to search the singer’s house following his recent episode with them.

It’s no news that Seun has an ongoing case with the Nigerian Police Force after he physically assaulted a police officer. Recall that a video of the incident went viral over the weekend.

He was subsequently arrested and remanded in prison for the crime. He was, however, granted bail by a Magistrate court in Yaba, Lagos state, but is yet to be released due to an extension order filed by the court.

The extension is necessary to conduct further investigation into the actual cause of the alleged assault against the police officer. Seun is expected to be released on Monday, May 22.

Amid the saga, his sister, Motunrayo, shared a video showing how their family treated policemen who came to search his house.

In the video, Seun Kuti can be seen standing at the gate of his house, wearing handcuffs, while the police officers tried to gain entry but the family insisted on searching them first.

They searched their bodies thoroughly, asked them to drop all their belongings at the gate, and remove their shoes before they were allowed to enter the house to conduct their search.

“We sef treat them like zombie. Stand attention, empty your pocket, stand here first, comot your shoe, no go that side o na there my juju dey,” she captioned the video.
