Amid reports of award-winning singer, Davido and his wife, Chioma welcoming twins, Nigerians have dug up a tweet of him hinting at the news.
News updated hours ago that Davido and Chioma are trending on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter after news broke out that the couple has welcomed twins.
Davido, further fueled the rumors after he hinted at his wife becoming ‘Maba Ibeji’ (mother of twins) in one of his songs on his Album, Timeless.
In a song titled ‘In The Garden’, which features Morravey, Davido in his lyrics said, “Abi mo meji, mama Ibeji”.
The singer had tweeted on Sunday that this week would be the best week in his life.
“Gonna be the best week of my life”.
This further fueled the reports that the singer and his wife have welcomed twins.
Also, Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Gospel Agochukwu, of Shekinah Arena International Ministries, had confirmed the birth of their twins.
In a post on his Facebook page, the clergyman congratulated the couple on their new bundle of joy.
He shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp message, acknowledging that his prophecy of last year has come true. From the chat, someone had claimed that the couple had welcomed twins – a boy and a girl at 9 p.m., though the date wasn’t revealed.
Recall that the clergyman had revealed that he had received a divine promise that Davido and Chioma would welcome twins.
If true, the birth of their twins would be a ray of light for the couple who lost their first child, a baby boy at 3 years.
