Yetunde Barnabas Applauds Mide Martins’ Powerful Performance in Upcoming Film.

Nollywood actress Yetunde Barnabas has showered praises on her senior colleague, Mide Martins, for her outstanding contribution to her forthcoming movie.

In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Yetunde described Mide as her “Mummy of life,” expressing deep appreciation for her willingness to be part of the project. She commended the actress for delivering an exceptional performance that will take viewers through a full range of emotions.

“You see this woman right here… Let me thank her in advance! My Mumcy of life, @mydemartins, thanks for doing this with me, Ma. She absolutely killed every bit of her role in this film; you’ll cry with her, laugh with her, and feel every emotion in between,” she wrote.
Yetunde also announced that the film, “Iran Ologo,” will premiere on YouTube this Friday, describing it as a special and powerful project.

The bond between Yetunde and Mide Martins is well-known in the Yoruba film industry. Their close relationship extends beyond the screen—often supporting each other’s careers, family milestones, and personal celebrations.

Just last month, when Yetunde welcomed her second child, a baby boy, Mide expressed overwhelming joy and prayed that her colleague’s happiness would remain permanent. The couple, Mide and Afeez Owo, have long been considered family to Yetunde, attending her wedding in 2021 and publicly celebrating her wins and milestones.

Mide also proudly declared herself a grandmother when Yetunde welcomed her first child in 2022, and has consistently celebrated her colleague during birthdays and other special occasions.

Meanwhile, Yetunde—who recently marked her fourth wedding anniversary—continues to shut down false pregnancy rumours, urging fans to focus on her work instead.

With “Iran Ologo” set for release, Yetunde assures fans that the film will be an emotional and unforgettable experience.
