81st Birthday: Senator Alli hails Olubadan’s contributions to Ibadan  growth, devt. 

Sen. Sharafadeen Alli (APC- Oyo South) has lauded the contributions of Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Olalekan Balogun to the growth and development of Ibadan as he clocks 81.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan.

Alli, the Maye-Balogun of Ibadanland, described the traditional ruler as a great leader who has worked tirelessly to ensure that Ibadan community remained a force to be reckoned with in Nigeria. 

The lawmaker commended the monarch for his efforts in promoting peace, unity, and progress in Ibadan, saying his leadership has been a source of inspiration to many.

He said that the traditional ruler has set a remarkable standard for other traditional rulers in the country to follow. 

Alli called on Nigerians to emulate the exemplary life of the monarch in their daily dealings. 

The lawmaker prayed that God would bless Balogun with more years of good health and wisdom.

He felicitated with the traditional ruler  on his birthday, expressing hope that the monarch would continue to steer the ship of Ibadanland towards greatness and prosperity. 

Alli urged all Ibadan indigenes to support the monarch in his efforts to ensure that the city remained  prosperous and peaceful.
