INEC TO COMMENCE DISPLAY OF NATIONAL REGISTER OF VOTERS FOR CLAIMS AND OBJECTIONS-2022

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Oyo State is to commence the Display of Preliminary Register of Voters (PRC) across the State which is in line with the Electoral Act 2022 and also as part of preparations towards the forthcoming 2023 General Elections.

In a Media Release today, the Administrative Secretary Biodun Onikate-Amosu stated that the exercise will begin at the Registration Areas (RAs) from Saturday 12th November to Friday 18th November 2022, while that of the 33 INEC Local Government Offices will begin as from Saturday 19th November and is expected to end on Friday 25th November 2022 from 9:00am to 3:00pm daily for 14 days.

The Administrative Secretary further stated that the Display exercise will be for all eligible registrants that have been captured on the Commission’s database till date adding that, registrants can as well visit the INEC website online via:www.inecnigeria.org/display_register and www. inecnigeria.org/make_claims_objections for scrutiny purposes accordingly.

Biodun Onikate-Amosu, however implored all registered voters to make good use of the exercise to either correct any misinformation on the Register and to also collect their already Printed Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) accordingly.
