Adeojo’s demise a great loss – Senator Alli

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Alhaji Yekini Adeojo, the Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland and former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

This is contained in a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Friday in Ibadan.

Senator Alli described Alhaji Adeojo’s passing as a great loss to Yorubaland, the Muslim Ummah and the nation at large.

Alli said that Alhaji Adeojo lived a fulfilled life devoted to the service of Allah, humanity and the nation.

He described the late statesman as a beacon of wisdom and political colossus, who impacted many lives positively across religious and political divides.

The lawmaker said that the late Seriki was respected as a unifying figure whose influence spread beyond politics.

He noted that Adeojo’s deep knowledge of political strategy and Islamic teachings earned him respect across Yorubaland and Nigeria.

Senator Alli said that Alhaji Adeojo’s death had created a vacuum that would be difficult to fill.

The lawmaker prayed that Allah forgives his shortcomings, grant him Aljann1ah Firdaus and console all those he left behind.
