Akinyele Council Boss, Hon Akinleye Commiserates with People of Sasa Community, Baale of Sasaland and Hausa Community over the Death of Sarkin Sasa

The Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye, extend his deepest condolences to the people of Sasa Community, the Baale of Sasaland, and the entire Hausa Community on the passing of Alhaji Haruna Maiyasin Katsina, the Sarkin Sasa Sardaunan Yamma, who died on Saturday at the remarkable age of 125.

In a statement made available to the public through his Chief Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, The Executive Chairman said the Local Government has lost a unifier.

His statement reads:

“We mourn the loss of a great leader, a unifying figure, and a champion of peace and development. Sarkin Sasa’s contributions to the growth and progress of Sasa Community and Akinyele Local Government as a whole will never be forgotten.”

“As the Chairman of the Council of Arewa Traditional Rulers in the 17 Southern States of Nigeria, he played a crucial role in fostering unity and peaceful coexistence among diverse ethnic groups. His leadership virtues were unparalleled, and his peaceful nature was a source of inspiration”.

“He was a father figure to many, always offering wise counsel and unwavering support. The late Sarkin Sasa’s commitment to justice, fairness and peace endeared him to many across the country. His invaluable contributions to nation-building and community development through his spiritual and political influence is immense”.

May Almighty Allah grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort his family, friends, and the entire community during this difficult time. May his legacy continue to inspire and guide us as we strive to build a more united and prosperous society.
