Breaking: Hon Akinwole Akinleye commissions motorized borehole project, distributes yuletide package to the people as Hon Kolade Olagunju defects to PDP*

In fulfillment of his campaign promises to make life easy for the good people of Akinyele Local Government, the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye yesterday commissioned a borehole project executed by him at Olorunsogo community, Islamic area of Moniya in Akinyele Local Government.

While addressing the crowd who were filled with happiness and Joy, the Executive Chairman assured the people of his unwavering commitment to ensure that Akinyele Local Government returns to the peak where it belongs by providing sustainable development and safer environment for his people.

The Chief Imam of Moniya, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Abdulkareem who led the opening prayer at the event acknowledged the selflessness and commitment of Hon Akinleye. Party leaders such as Chief Akin Aderibigbe, Alh Gazali, Alh Olaibi Musanto at the event commended the efforts and the landmark achievements of the Executive Chairman and prayed for more successes for him. Other Political functionaries who spoke at the event showered encomiums on the Executive Chairman for his people oriented programs and prayed for a successful tenure.

Immediately after commissioning , the Executive Chairman and his team proceeded to the Akinyele PDP Local meeting held at the party house where he distributed yuletide packages to the good people of Akinyele Local Government. The people who were in joyous mood at the sight of the yuletide package appreciated the Executive Chairman for always putting the people first and running an all inclusive government.

The Akinyele PDP also received Hon Joshua Kolade Olagunju, a former Oyo State House of Assembly member who decamped with his supporters from the All Progressive Congress, APC to the ruling People’s Democratic Party PDP.

Present at the borehole commissioning exercise include the members of the Akinyele Legislative Arm led by their leader, Hon Rafiu Kolawole Kazeem KK, The Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, Hon Adeyemi Abideen, Aderinwale, Party Leaders, Religious and community leaders, Party Executives and Stakeholders, Head of Local Government Administration Dr Busari, Director of Administration and General Services, Alh Musibau, Director of Works, Engr Majaro Joseph, The Deputy Director of works, Supervisory Councilors, Special Assistants, Party Members amongst others.

Notable dignitaries at the Akinyele PDP local meeting include the former Senator and Oyo State first female speaker, Sen. Monsurat Sumonu, Oyo State PDP Secretary, Hon Wasiu Adeleke, The Oyo State PDP PRO and Youth Leader, Hon Micheal Ogunsina, The Oyo state PDP Financial Secretary Hon Dayo Opatokun, The PDP Oyo Central senatorial Chairman, Hon Mufutau Ogunremi, Chief Benedict Akika, The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon Seun Olufade, Akinyele LG Vice Chairman, Hon Sakiru Akintunde, The Local Government Secretary and Assistant secretaries, The SSA to the Governor on Student Affiars, Hon Victor Olojede, The SSA to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftancy Matters, Hon Agberemi RAD, State Honorables representing Akinyele Constituency 1 and 2, Supervisory Councilors, Special Assistants, Party Leaders, Party Stakeholders, Party faithfuls amongst others.
