CCII President Eulogizes Oyo State NNPP Governorship, the candidate

..says he’s an outstanding son of Ibadan

Prince Yemisi Adeaga, President-General, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has described the Oyo State New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) governorship candidate, Engr. Popoola Olukayode Joshua has the epitome of humanity.

Prince Adenuga said that Engineer Popoola is one of the best sons Ibadanland has ever produced.

The CCII president made these statements during the commissioning of 10KV solar power systems, donated by Engineer Popoola the governorship candidate of the NNPP to the CCI which is the apex body of all the socio-cultural organizations of Ibadanland.

The CCI President while thanking Engineer Popoola for his gesture in providing the Solar system, said he was doing that on behalf of CCII and other affiliated groups, as they greatly appreciated the NNPP candidate for his singular contribution to the development of Ibadan land, saying his kind gesture is rare to come by.

He pointed out that what he did for the CCII was not expected and that it was beyond what they could imagine.

Prince Adeaga who praised Engr. Popoola for his humility said ” he Is calm and cool-headed, many of us were surprised when we got to know that, one of Ibadan’s sons is an Executive Director at FERMA and the Director, of Federal Highways. Along the line, we decided to honor him for making us proud.”

” Engr. Popoola did what others found difficult of doing, today I can tell you that we have been enjoying the solar power systems here at Ibadan House, Oke-Aremo, without hindrance, this has even made us neglect our generators.”

In his speech, the donor, Mogaji Engr. Popoola praised the CCII for being a central rallying body for Ibadan sons and daughters and said it is a thing of joy for him to have done the wish of the organization.

” This is just a little contribution, there are bigger plans, even not only for Ibadan but Oyo state in general.

Engineer Popoola argued that the development of Oyo state in general was one of the reasons he is contesting the governorship seat, “I took the challenge upon myself to contest for the governorship seat in the 2023 elections. I have a great vision, such as urban renewal which is part of my manifesto and it will be implemented when I become the Governor of Oyo State”, Oyo NNPP gubernatorial candidate stated.
