Democracy Day: Hon Akinwole emphasizes on Unity as a tool for Nation Building

The Executive Chairman, Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye has congratulated the good people of Akinyele Local Government, Oyo State and Nigeria at large on another historic occasion of Democracy Day.

In his words, the Chairman said, “Nigerians are celebrating Democracy today because of the heroic efforts of our past leaders who sacrificed their lives to ensure that democracy is sustained in the country; this was achievable because of the unity between our founding fathers and heroes. This shows the importance of a unified nation.”

He further stated that, as a country we need to continue preaching unity across board, so as to ensure the peace and stability we have been working towards over the years. Without Unity, the country cannot move toward achieving her purpose of agitating for Democracy.

Hon Akinwole used this opportunity to thank the good people of Akinyele Local Government for their supports so far and also reiterated his commitment towards a better and sustainable environment for all.
