Former President Obasanjo in the early hours of 06:01:2022 visited the family of the late olubadan of Ibadan Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso1

Obasanjo was welcome at the Popoyemoja Palace of late Monarch,by Chief Nureni Akanbi,Balogun, and Olori

The former President was accompanied to the palace by a former Secretary to the Government of Oyo State, Chief Olayiwola Olakojo

In his brief, Chief Obasanjo prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed Ibadan monarch and pledged his readiness to assist the family at any time whenever the need arises.
