Former Anambra Deputy Speaker Oseke Di@s At 64

He was a law graduate and had recently completed his Ph.D. in Public Administration at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

Former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Harford Oseke is de@d.

He was 64 years old and hailed from Umuawulu in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The circumstances surrounding his de@th are still unclear

While some reports say Oseke collapsed during his regular exercise routine at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka on Monday, others reveal that he had been sick and had been in the hospital until the story of his death broke on Monday.

Oseke’s political career started with the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and during Peter Obi’s administration, Oseke contested and won a seat in the Anambra State House of Assembly, where he served as the Majority Leader before being elected Deputy Speaker.

There is no official statement from the family or the state government but a close relative, who pleaded anonymity, said the de@th was one too many as Anambra had lost fine politicians in quick succession in recent times.
