How PDP Stakeholders Of ATISBO LGA Finally Settle Differences For Hon. Amifas As Consensus Candidate

Rising from a stakeholders meeting held on Wednesday,  12th July 2023, the leaders of all tendencies of People Democratic Party (PDP) in ATISBO LGA endorsed  the incumbent Executive chairman of the council, Hon. Adeagbo Fasasi (Amifas) as the consensus chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming LGA election in the state.

According to communique made available to this medium, other contenders present at the leaders’ meeting stepped down their ambitions and joined the Elders in adopting Amifas as consensus candidate.

The leader of PDP ATISBO LGA, Oloye Isaac Oke (Agada), had earlier briefed the gathering that the meeting was called to report back to the house a meeting scheduled by the party’s state leaders on the forthcoming local government election.

All the leaders present at the meeting noted that Hon. Amifas has done his best and is still doing in this his first term and deserves to be returned to continue his work in line with the vision and mission of our indefatigable leader, Governor Seyi Makinde’s Omititun 2.0. 

Notable Stakeholders from the local government area present at the enlarged meeting were Oloye Isaac Oke, Baba Oluko, Hon. Ismail Adedeji, Hon. Ademola Adejumobi (Agbara po), Baba John Ogungbenro, Alh. Jimoh Adesope, Elder Debo Adejumobi, Iyafin Nike Arewa, Hon. Joel Ayoola Makanjuola, Aremo Femi Adetola, Hon. Barr Ojo Ayobami, Hon. Owolabi, LGA Party Chairman Alh Fatai, Prince Abioye, Imam Azeez, as well as Ward Chairmen.
