I started the slogan “No gree for anybody” — Yul Edochie

The director claims that a post he published on Facebook and Instagram is where the tagline originated.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has verified following an investigation that he created the well-known catchphrase “No gree for anybody.”

The actor, who has been dragged about a lot because of his marital issue, said he was told a lot that he was the one who came up with the phrase that went popular at the beginning of the year.

The director claims that a post he published on December 29, 2023, on Facebook and Instagram is where the tagline originated.

Yul Edochie stated that it is clear from a careful inquiry that it is real, and he is deserving of some recognition.

In his words:

“People have been telling me that it was Yul Edochie who started the slogan ‘NO GREE FOR ANYBODY’. They said it came from a post I made on the 29th of December, 2023 on Instagram and Facebook, from there it went viral.
I have investigated the matter. E be like na true oo. So make una dey give me my credit oo.
