Ibadan Bullion Fan- Oyo CP Address The Issue Of Robbery Attack

The Oyo State Commissioner for Police, Ngozi Onadeko, has described the recent robbery incident in Ibadan as a coordinated attack.

Onadeko, who said this at the scene of the robbery incident in Ibadan, also confirmed that two policemen were actually shot on the leg, while one of the Armed robbers was shot dead by her men.

The Commissioner, while condemning the incident, called for calm and assured residents that the Police is working assiduously to ensure that the perpetrators of the unfortunate incident are brought to book.

The CP added that her men have been immediately deployed to the exit and entry points of the State, to ensure the suspects do not escape from Ibadan.

Onadeko, who opined that the robbers trailed the bullion van from the point of loading to its destination, said the deployment followed the unfortunate attack by the armed robbers.

She added that the Police has commenced investigations to ensure enhanced, coordinated fected area(s) of the State.
