It is a bad time for Nollywood actor Francis Duru and his family as he loses his son, Ifeanyi.

The light-skinned actor made the news known on his Instagram page as he compared his son to a lion who fought fiercely for his life. The actor stated that if this is how God wants it, so be it. Francis stated that he still judges him.

Calling his late son his champ, he noted how he would miss him and promised to love him forever. The heartbroken father told him to rest in peace.

“My champ!! My lion…you fought like a lion…if this is the way He wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful…Ifeanyi, my champ….I will miss you, son… will forever love you…Rest in peace, son…rest…I give you thanks, lord!”.

Just last week, comedian Aphrican Ace and his wife were grieving the loss of their newborn son, who came out earlier than expected. He noted how his son was doing pretty well for a 26-weeker, but their joy was cut short as on July 28th, they got a call that he had gotten a bacterial infection, and from there, it was one thing after another.

Despite the doctors’ words, they hoped he would pull through. But God decided to call him home during the early hours of August 1st with his parents by his side. The comedian stated that he had never experienced such pain before as he noted how they quickly went from plans for him coming home to now talking to funeral homes.

Last year, on Father’s Day, skit maker Olagunju Solomon Olamide, better known as Akika, lost his son. The skitmaker made the sad news known on his Instagram page as he stated that he was looking for the perfect picture of himself and his son to post online before his demise.
