Major Political Alignment in Oyo as Senator Alli Set to Sign Generational Inclusion Pact.

In what is shaping up to be a major political headline ahead of the next electoral cycle, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, PhD, the APC governorship candidate, is set to sign a Generational Inclusion Pact at the 2026 Oyo State Emerging Political Leaders Summit, a key highlight of the launch of the 50 Below 50 Campaign Project.

The summit, scheduled for August 24–25, 2026, at the Ibadan Civic Centre, is themed “Bridging the Gap, Uniting Political Strength, and Mobilizing Emerging Leaders for 2027.” It is expected to draw emerging political leaders, party stakeholders, grassroots mobilizers, community influencers, and strategic actors from across Oyo State in what organizers describe as a crucial platform for political engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Senator Alli’s planned signing of the pact is already generating buzz as a powerful signal of commitment to youth inclusion, intergenerational partnership, and the expansion of political opportunities for a new generation of leaders. Coming during the unveiling of the 50 Below 50 Campaign Project, the moment is expected to rank among the defining scenes of the summit.

Organizers say the summit is aimed at promoting political reconciliation, strengthening grassroots coordination, deepening inclusion, and broadening support for the APC in Oyo State, while also galvanizing momentum for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in 2027.

The event will also feature heavyweight national figures. Dr. Zacch Adedeji, PhD, Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service, will serve as Chief Facilitator and deliver a session on “Fiscal Renewal, Revenue Mobilization, and the Economic Future of Oyo State in the Context of Nigeria’s Progressive National Agenda.” His presentation is expected to link political leadership with economic reform and governance outcomes.

Also expected is Senator Barau I. Jibrin, Deputy President of the Senate, as Special Guest of Honour, while Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, will deliver the keynote address on “Bridging Political Divides, Building Strategic Alliances, and Mobilizing Oyo State for Progressive Victory in 2027.”

With the stakes rising ahead of 2027, the Oyo EPL Summit is fast becoming more than just a gathering — it is shaping into a strategic political moment. And with APC guber candidate Senator Sarafa Alli poised to publicly sign the Generational Inclusion Pact, the summit may well deliver one of the most compelling front-page moments in Oyo’s unfolding political story.
