Makinde, Ogunwuyi, Adeleke, Fagbemi, Boladuro, MON, Others Pay Last Respect To Akala

Oyo state will continue to honour and remember late former Governor of the state Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala for his great Contributions to the development of the state.

Governor Seyi Makinde stated this at lying in state programme organised in Honour of the former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala held at house of Chiefs Secretariat Ibadan.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy Egnr Rauf Olaniyan said the present administration is ready to support the family of the Late Alao-Akala at the crucial time.

The Governor said the good legacy of late Governor Alao Akala will stand the test of time as he touched lives of people positively during his life time.

He described late Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala as one of the experienced Politicians who committed his life to serve God and humanity.

In their separate tributes,The Speaker Oyo state house of Rt Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin, Representative of Chief Judge of the State,Justice Iyabo Yerima,former Deputy Governor of Oyo state Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and Retired Commissioner of Police Bashiru Azeez Alabi said Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala contribute greatly to the development of the state.

Also the Secretary to the state Government Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun,Head of Service of Oyo state,Mrs Ololade Agboola, Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of the state,Prof Oyelowo Oyewo SAN,Pastor in charge of Molete Baptist Church Rev Kehinde Alabi
described late Alao Akala as outstanding leader who made an idelible mark in life.

The Eldest son of the Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala said his late father will be greatly missed for his advice and love for the people.

The event was attended by the past and serving Political leaders, Political Chieftains and Dignitaries from all walks of life.

Dignitaries at the event include: Taofeek Arapaja, Dare Adeleke, Olubamiwo Adeosun, Segun Oguwuyi, Kunle Yusuff MON, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, Olajide Boladuro, Abdulazeez Abdulrasheed, Taiwo Adisa, Idow Ogedengbe, among others.
