In a bid to strengthen youth empowerment and digital capacity in Oyo State, over 200 laptops alongside cash grants have been distributed to beneficiaries to support digital marketing training and economic growth.

The initiative, driven by the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, is aimed at equipping young people with relevant digital skills for self-reliance and participation in the global economy.

The programme was hosted by Adedeji Stanley Olajide, Chairman of the House Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity.

Organisers noted that the intervention is part of ongoing efforts to bridge the digital skills gap and create opportunities for youths, enabling them to leverage technology for innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
