The Grand Chief Imam of Oyo State, Sheikh Moshood Ajokidero, has been reportedly dead.
The Chief Imam was reported to have been sick for a while before he died last night.
He was one of the longest-reigning Grand Imams in the state.
A post on his official Facebook page reads: “As salaam alaykum. InnaLillah wainna Ilaihu raajiun. We Announce The Demise of the Grand Chief Imam Of Oyo. May Almighty Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaos. Amen
